Welcome! To all. This blog is for all of us. We have shared our story and experienced the healing that comes from the support recieved from others. So many people and their families, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and friends are all living the same fear and pain that addiction, or loving someone who is an addict can bring. So many of us have been told that addiction is a disease, yet our heath care will not cover the form of intense treatment our loved one will require. Many of us are parents are doing our best to give our young children a fighting chance in this world and we try to avoid addiction or bullying as an issue for our kids. We all pay taxes and want to see our hard earned money put to the best use for our children who are our future. Some of us have experienced our child being left behind in our public schools, due to lack of funding and training.
It all sits under one umbrella in my opinion. We hope that you will all share your stories, your successes and your pain. We hope this will be a place to share idea's, support and comadeship. We can lift one another up.
