We decided to publish this book, in hopes it can help where other drug addiction books cannot, to help others who are also dealing with issues in their lives such as learning disabilities, muscular dystrophy, addiction, mandatory sentencing, Measure 11, and who may be coping with ADHD and school bullying. We also hope to open the eyes to all taxpayers so that they will see where their tax dollars are being spent and take a part in where the funds go, so that their children and loved ones will have a better foundation. We want Americans to see to it that tax dollars are spent on our children's education and future's so that they grow up successful and whole.

We hope that the epidemic that addiction has become will be treated and not used as a commodity to our judicial system. Tax dollars could be saved and many jobs open to our communities if treatment rather than more prisons became a priority.

We hope leaders and parents will take charge to prevent bullying in schools and make it mandatory that teachers and students be educated on disabilities and that " No Child Be Left Behind." All children have special needs and these should be met.
